Start Weight: 189.8
Week 1: 190
Goal Weight: 160
Weekly struggle: It was my son's second birthday party last saturday and his actual birthday on Tuesday. I didn't pig out as much as I thought I would, but I still ended up eating a lot of sweets and pizza and crap. I ended up going up to 192 from it...I also wasn't working out. Bad first week for me.
Weekly strength: I did end up working out 4 days in a row after I saw that 192 number. I was able to lose 2lbs before the weigh-in today. So now I'm only weighing in at a +0.20 -
Don't be silly - you're allowed a life too you know! I'm just grateful you set this group up as it's super motivational! Also, well done for getting the pounds off that you gained, just goes to show that a week is long enough to recover from slip-ups sometimes!
Start Weight: 138
Week 1: 136
Goal Weight: 126
Weekly struggle: Been quite lazy with working out everyday as I have just started 30 day shred level 3 and its HARD. Also went out for dinner two nights this week and have been over my calorie goal twice (and I'm going out clubbing tonight and the alcohol I plan to drink will send me over my calorie goal again!)
Weekly strength: After feeling guilty about not working out I summoned the will power to start level 3 on wednesday and I plan on doing it everyday to get 30 day shred finished. Also, after feeling guilty about going over my calorie goal twice (now three times) this week, the next day I have tried to eat a hundred or so below my calorie goal (which has so far worked!).0 -
Starting: 221
Week 1: 220.8
Goal: 195
Weekly Struggle: Was sooo hungry 2 days in a row. Discovered I am not eating enough calories! Aghhh! So, eating so that my calorie deficit is no more than 1,000 cals.
Weekly Strength: Exercised every day this past week! I made all my goals on my Body Bugg armband!0 -
Start weight: 150.6
Current weight: 149
Hey all! I'm having a week from hell, so I'm shocked that I've been able to drop anything... I'm trying to find that sweet spot with my eating and exercise and eating better if I can't exercise.... remembering my angel baby, school is crazy, kiddo is sick, hub is choosing to be not so supportive... I'm struggling for sure. But I'm not really turning to food too bad, which is new!
Hope everyone has a great week!0 -
Start Weight: 153.8
Week 1: 151.6
Goal Weight: 138
Weekly struggle: feeling like the scale wasn't moving & getting bummed out b/c. I weigh & record my weight every day in an Excel spreadsheet. It helps me stay focused and be mindful of the body's natural weight fluctuations. However, weight loss starts to slow down or stall out it can really do a number on your head. The weight drop didn't show up on the scales until this morning. Another struggle was having one or both kids be sick at any given point during the week.
This leads to them sleeping poorly which leads to me not sleeping much and when I'm tired I crave chocolate. Didn't go in for it though because I knew it wouldn't help in the long run.
Weekly strength: Following up my month long 30ds run with 3 sessions this week, daily evening yoga and walks. Beginning actually feel like this is a lifestyle (not a diet!) instead of just telling myself that. What I mean to say is, regardless of whether or not I'm trying to lose weight or maintain, I'll be exercising and eating foods that nourish my body.
Congrats on all your successes, ladies. Upwards and onwards to next week!0 -
Sorry! I've had guests and not been able to get online!
Start Weight: 162
Week 1: 163
I'll take that - between eating with guests, a lack of exercise, and a couple of other things, 1lb up for this week isn't too bad. Just have to do better next week!0
