Costumes to run a 10k in

Me and my running buddy run 10k every monday and theres a 10k race coming up and we think we should enter.. but because we run 10k every week were thinking we should do it in costumes to make it harder/more hilarious.. Whats a funny costume we could wear that wouldn't be too hard to run a 10k in?

I was thinking we could wear princess dresses and tiaras (hes a boy so it would be funny) or like buy animal ears and paint our faces and run as pandas

Its still going to be pretty cold weather so overheating shouldn't be an issue.

If anyone has stories of costumes they have worn/seen I would love to hear them :)

They do a Costume run for the Ukrops 10k in Richmond and they have awesome ones. Here are a few that stand out:
    Squirrel and a nut
    Nemo and Dori
One guy was a boat and there was a girl behind him in an innertube

He has a chafing problem and I always tell him to try leggings like I run in lol so I'm sure he would be okay with that :P

I did my first 10K as a cat...even had a jingle bell collar! It was a repeat loop (5k each loop) and as I crossed for my 5K split, the RD even yelled out, "Keep running, Jingle Bells!" I didn't run with the tail because I knew it would annoy the heck out of me, but the collar and ears and rest of the costume was fine.

i'm planning to wear this tardis dress at 3 upcoming marathons in europe :)

i know it's ridiculously pricey for a skimpy dress, but i'm not in my 20s and i'm not quite the night club until dawn type.
i'm more the get up and run at dawn type.

I ran my first marathon in a tutu with leggings... It was "fun" BUT the damn tulle kept going in between my legs and just looked awkward. We did get a lot of compliments on the tutus though :)
    Superhero cosutmes are always fun!
