The challenge this weekend is to burn 1200 calories.

We are close to the end of 2nd month and I think it is about time to up the challenge. Last week was great many people burnt much more than 1000 calories. Same spirit and effort is needed this weekend too burn 1200 or more calories and report in this thread.

Push yourself harder and make sure to be active on weekends:happy: START BURNING!!

Cross your fingers for me. I had surgery Tuesday. I am released to activity as tolerated, but I am not sure I will be able to tolerate 1200 calories worth.

Be careful and do little activity. You can take the challenge next week may be.

Just take it easy and recover properly so you can smash the next challenge, don't worry about this week

My weekend total is 1483. Not going to do anything else as have a big presentation to work on for next week.

I really struggled to make the goal this weekend, I am not getting the burn from my regular activities that I am used to getting. I know it's because I'm getting fitter but it's still disappointing to feel I've pushed hard and get less results.

I did not do as well as I had hoped, but I was able to get some exercise in:

Sat - 0 was in the car for 6 hours!
    Sun - approximatley 750

So I got just over half way through the goal! But it's better than nothing.

Are you using MFP's estimate of calorie burn for this challenge, or heart rate monitors? I don't have a HRM which is why I am asking, but I like the idea of this challenge. Thanks!

It is a mix, some of us are using HRM and some are using MFP estimates. I am mostly relying on the gym equipment calories as it takes into account the weight etc and then some calories I use from MFP.
