Looking for some friends and some motivation

Hello MFP 20 Somethings!

My name is Megan, I'm looking for some friends! Staying motivated is soooo difficult (which I'm sure lots of you know) and wouldn't mind some help and helping yall too. I have a 3 year old which makes working out in her awake hours difficult since she likes to "have a turn" and steal weights and whatnot. So after attending to my princess all day I feel unmotivated to workout even though I want to and know I should.

I'm starting at around 216lbs and have a goal weight of 145. My doctor wants to see me between 170-180 by the beginning of May (I've shamefully squandered this month away) but I feel ready to start! I joined the Jillian Micheals 30 Day Shred group that is starting tomorrow but wouldn't mind doing some extras and making some new friends and motivating others as well.

I figure if others are interested we could even make up some fun tasks/challenges here to keep weight loss fun and interactive.

    Hey girl I just added you! I am a new mom to a two month old little boy and have lost my pre- pregnancy weight but I still need to lose about 60 lbs and with a newborn I am finding it so hard to stay motivated. Maybe we can help each other keep with it!

    Hi! I'll be your friend! My name is Ashley. I can't relate to having kids, but I can totally relate to having trouble staying motivated. That's something I struggle with all the time.

    I'll totally be there for you guys...and anyone else who may happen upon this post and need/want a new friend :)
