New Month - Woo hoo! I am taking a rest day today after 9 consecutive days last month pushing to reach my goal! Sorry peeps, meant to do this yesterday morning and got busy with work and then off to get my hair done, Thought about it in the middle of the night - YIKES.

So, HERE WE GO! Set your goal of miles to walk for the month and start walking! We mostly use Leslie Sansone DVD's, but welcome any and all walkers.

I am thinking about starting a spreadsheet this month as I am curious to how many miles we rack up each month as a group. This challenge keeps me motivated and all of you inspire me every month to keep going.

Setting my goal for March at 60 Miles - have 3 birthdays this month, great niece, me and my granddaughter so I see cake in the future. Better get moving!

    I hope to add in some OUTDOOR miles this month as the weather gets better (hopefully!). My goal for March is 50 miles (combined walk at home and outdoor miles).

    I'm going to set my goal at 50 again for this month. I have spring break in there, so I don't want to make it any higher since I will be away! YAAAY!!! We can do it!!!

    I'm in for March. My goal will be 40 miles. I missed my goal in February because I was sick with a cold for 3 weeks and couldn't breathe when I worked out :sad:

    Happy Friday Walking Buddies!

    I am so excited to start this March Walking Challenge! I exceeded my February goal by 2.75 miles for a total of 62.75 miles for the month.

    My March Madness goal is going to be a crazy, out of my mind goal of 80 miles!! I'm really trying to set a daily walking plan, so this goal will make it happen.

    I will be doing a comination of all forms of walking: Leslie DVDs, other walking DVDs, the treadmill at the gym, and walking outside.

    I just love, love, love to walk! :love:

    Here we go friends! Let's do this! :happy:

    Hi everyone

    I'm new but i've been doing Leslie Sansone's DVDs for a few months now and I love them.

    I'm going to try 60 miles this month.

    1st march - 3 miles of LS's fat burning walk

    Thanks, princess, for getting us started again. I just love to be part of this group and have noticed that walking helps me more with toning/burning fat than running. My HRM says the same: up to 45% of the calories burned come from fat when I am walking:happy:
    So, for this month my goal is 60 miles again. I will start walking tomorrow :-)

    I am new to the group and this is my first challenge month :) I will be doing a combination of LS and outdoor walking.
    I dont want to make a goal too big, as Id like to do the bike as well.
    My goal for March will be 40 miles.

    2 miles: A Closer 2 Mile Walk

    Goal for March: 40 combined miles (but aiming higher)

    So far: 2 Leslie/ other walking DVD miles

    So far: 0 outdoor miles

    I am going to change my goal this month as the days that I work in the yard and garden is enough on those days. I enjoy spring while I can before the summer heat sets in.

    Good morning all,
    My goal for March is 40 miles. That was also my goal for February, but I only walked 37, now I am once again March-ing toward 40 miles (hahahaha).
    Yesterday I did one mile-walk away the pounds for abs. My goal for today is 2 miles (did one already).

    My March goal is 310 miles or 10 miles a day!

    I'm going to break it up every day into 2-3 Leslie walks.

    Oh just found this group and I am so excited!!! :happy: :happy: :happy: :happy:

    I love the Leslie videos and I have been doing the 5 Mile Power Walk video lately though not all 5 each time. I try to get all 5 in at least twice a week.

    I have no idea how many miles I walk in a month so this is a starting goal to see how it goes. This will help me keep myself in gear for sure.
