My name is Nicole, and I'm a single mom of two wonderful kids, a student, and a budding entrepreneur. My why is my "pinky promise" to my children. I promised my children that I will be here (meaning alive and well) for them and their children, but I wasn't doing anything to keep that promise. It wasn't that I was a bad eater but I am a snacker (if they have Snackers Anonymous I would be a member), and I did not exercise. So I am working on keeping my promise to my children by taking care of myself and being an example for them.

  • Hi my name is Christie and I've always tried to eat healthy for most of my life. When I was about 22 I feel off the band wagon when I was in a serious relationship. It took me able 5 years after that to start making changes in my life and another 2 years to say, it's about time to give up the unhealthy things in life that I don't need anymore. Since I've lost over 80lbs I started to realize how much I enjoy running and doing athletic things. I think of myself as an emotional eater and someone with an eating disorder. For the rest of my life I know I'll have to watch what I eat so I never become overweight again. I recently got my Zumba certification and now practicing to become a Zumba trainer. I eventually want to become a personal trainer as well.
  • Christie,
