Hi all,
I am 8 weeks post partum and have lost most of my baby weight - still got about 4-6 pounds to go until I'm back at my pre pregnancy weight. However trying to get down a bit further. Currently breastfeeding, which is helping but I have reached a plateau and the weight has slowed.
My baby has problems with colic and has possible reflux. I have discovered he can not handle chocolate or caffeine so have eliminated those from my diet. I am also eliminating dairy as a possible group that upsets his tummy.
Any advice and support from others would be very much welcomed

Hi! Welcome and congratulations on your new baby!
I'm 14 weeks post partum with my second child, and man, he totally suffered from colic. The good news is that it really has passed now - started getting much better by 12 weeks really. I tried everything! He responded well to loud white noise (stove exhaust fan, running water, radio tuned to static, hair dryer). What also helped us was working with a lactation consultant, but it was honestly one of the most difficult times of my life. Didn't happen with my first child, so it really took me by surprise.
I'm now below my prepregnancy weight thanks to breastfeeding and MFP but would like to lose a bit more (prob 15 lbs). I've found a slow & steady approach to be most helpful - have you looked at the Eat More to Weigh Less forums or the In Place of a Roadmap?
Good luck and hang in there with the colic. It gets so much better, I promise!0 -
Welcome!
I'm 7 weeks PP, just below my pre-pregnancy weight (doesn't mean I'm any smaller though). I wish I was still able to breastfeed, mainly for my sons health benefit, but the losing weight was a big plus too. Congrats on the weight loss so far0
