Anyone running a St. Paddys Day 5k? Its always my first race of the year and I LOVE it! Im running the Naperville one. Good luck to all that are racing. :) Kick some booty !!!

    Im running that one too but not hungover. Im running Team Run for ALS so I gotta be at my best :)ob

    Now for the Run or dye in May Ill probably be hungover...

    I'd like to run my first one sober, so maybe the Shamrock Shuffle is not for me.

    Theres the Walter Payton Sweetness Run in Yorkville the first Sat. in June. Its a 5k and an 8k. Connie Payton and both of the kids go too., Its pretty cool.
    Im not sure how far South west you are talking and Im not sure where the line is when burbs turn into boonies hahah but there is a Plano/Baloney 5k in April.

    Yorkvilles not too far I dont think. Maybe 40ish minutes?

    I'll be doing the St Paddy's race in Naperville, too. Picked up my packet last night. I hope the weather cooperates. REgardless, I'll be drinking that green beer bright and early in the morning!

    Just got mine today. Love the shirts this year :) Cant wait for that green beer!!!

    Anyone running this year? 19 days and I'm nowhere near ready (injured my knee last summer). I heard there's a costume contest this year. I'll be wearing my beer mug hat.

    I would definitely be interested in the Yorkville run as it is in my town :)
