Proverbs 13:10
"Pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is found in those who take advice."
C.S. Lewis wrote in Mere Christianity that pride is the greatest sin of all. I listened to a preacher who said that pride is being "self-centered". I can see where C.S. Lewis was coming from because if we are self-centered then we are about me and that never puts God first. Many Christians recognize the word joy as standing for Jesus, Others, Yourself. There is no way we can be a prideful person when we are about JOY. Enjoy and give thanks to God for all of the blessings that come our way. Everything we receive is from HIM and all Glory should go HIS way!
