I love the kettle bell. I have taught several classes using the KB. I am teaching an evening boot camp class and their required equipment is a kettle bell. They are very effective because of the way the weight is distributed.0

I have a Kettlebells set and have Jillian Michaels' dvd but I honestly have only used them once. I think I am intimidated by them LOL.0

I love the kettlebell, It makes me feel so beastly and strong to swing it around. And you use those core muscles that I really need to use. I got a DVD by Gin Miller with my kettlebell and I love that one. I bought Jillian's DVD, but although I usually enjoy all her workouts, I felt the Gin Miller one was better and it has 3 different workouts.0

I love my kettlebells but not the first program I tried (Kettleworx). However I found Lauren Brooks and have two of her kettlebells DVD's that have at least a couple of workouts on each.
You definitely get a great workout!0 -
I used them in a crossfit class and liked using them so I bought a15 and 20 pound kettle bell to use with the Jillian Michaels Shred it with weights. I like using them for something a little different. I am not sure if they are anymore effective than regular weights though.0
