Hey guys! New week! Woot! I did Burn Circuit 2 today, and once again the bands are proving to be annoying. For some of the exercises (the dead lifts especially) my heaviest band just isn't heavy enough. I was definitely not at muscle failure by 12 reps. Blargh. I'm going to have to try to find a way around that if I'm going to continue CLX, I think.

On week 2 of march! 45 minutes today. I couldn't do the last one. I was just pooped.

Jeni--- yeah I can't do the bands unless its Charlenes ab ones. They hurt my arms when it presses up against my skin.

I didn't end up making up my missed workouts last weekend. I was just too tired. It's ok I wanted to take it easy some anyway. It's about life style change not being a slave to this.

Talk to yall tomorrow. Hope you have a great day and workout! =)

I went out today and bought a 30 lb band at ****'s Sporting Goods. I didn't get to do my cardio today because you-know-who was home. I might hit the gym later tonight and just run on the treadmill. Blargh. So boring.

Hi ladies, I pushed play today and did clx push 3. I am so hungry. I can't keep the food outta my mouth. I had to run errands today and forgot my shake. Poor planning on my part and was more hungry then I should have been cause I waited so long. Oh well better day tomro. :)
@Melzy Good for you, your right. It is a lifestlye change and when life happens we need to not be frustrated cause we didn't get our workouts on. I have to tell myself this all the time. I do have to say I enjoy working out more then ever though it is ME time :)
@Jeni you are amazing!!! A lot of people would have quit or thrown in the towel by now. Yet you keep pushing through. Boring or not great work. :)

Have a great night!!!!!!!! Keep up the hard work. :)

So I didn't get to go to the gym tonight. I was just about to head to bed since I have to get up at 6am tomorrow.... and behold! The downstairs neighbor left for work at 10:50pm just as I popped on my jammies. After struggling with the thought of going to bed or working out, the smart side won and I did Burn Intervals and Ab Burner. I was surprised to find that the Ab Burner wasn't so bad. I think Abs 10 is WAY harder.

@ Vini- I've been starving all week, too... which is funny since I recently upped my calories >,< Maybe it's all the strength training?

@ Melzy- taking a break when you need it is the key to not burning yourself out or giving up, I think. Every time I've quit before, I just went like a mad thing until I couldn't go anymore- and then I felt like a failure, and quit.

Phew just got done with LM Combat. As usual the kick count 234 KICKS!!!!! =D Burned over 400 cals too. Yep I was sweating and working hard! I decided to do this because it has running on the calendar and I don't run so I figured I would do a workout I haven't in a bit. FUN! I really recommend these. They are super fun.

I get hungry really bad sometimes and then others I just dont want to eat. They call it zig zagging the calories. I do it naturally. If you are hungry eat. You know what I did? I went and found out how many calories I can eat to maintain and as long as I dont go over that number I feel ok. I usually don't though unless I eat something truely fattening. (hamburger from five guys... which I can't have now BOOO HOOO)

Burn Intervals is one of my fav workouts from CLX, Jeni.

Vini--- Push phase is one of my favorite workouts. If I could I would just do that all the time. I am sometimes not so coordinated and all the push exercises just focuses on one exercise at a time. Plus I just like them all and I feel like I hate any of them.

Tonight I am going to do Burn Circuit 3. I'm going to see how I do with the heavier band that I bought the other day. I had a pair of 5 lb free weights that I did the Burn Intervals with yesterday.... hoo those 5 lbs can start to feel pretty darn heavy after awhile. Oddly, i think my biceps do look a bit bigger than they did last week when I flex them. I don't measure my arms when they're flexed, and I think maybe I should start.

Good morning east coast friends! I would love a get together in DC! I have family on both sides living in Alexandria and Gaithersburg, MD. I was actually in the Gettysburg area this past Sept. My husband did the Mid Atlantic Tough Mudder with his buddies.

Anyway, I forgot how great it is to get a workout done in the morning! I'm feeling so good right now. I just did 45 EZ and I remember months ago how much i strongly disliked 45 EZ....now I love it! The music was great and I kept up with the combos. I'm in Week 12 now, Recovery week. I didn't lose as much as I thought I would by this time...but I know I lost a heck of a lot of inches. Yay me!

Have a great rest of the day!

    Good going Pres =)
Jeni- how did the harder bands go?

I did 20 minutes of stretch yoga today. Totally needed that my arms are so sore. I am not sure why but they are big time. Boring day but it felt good. hehe

    See yall tomorrow. =)

Heya guys! Glad to see you still kicking butt, Presh! I would honestly prefer to lose inches rather than lbs, so I'd focus on that as far as progress goes, if I was you =)

Melzy, the harder bands worked MUCH better. The sumo squats were actually getting really hard to do by the 10th rep. Once again, my butt is sooo sore. Burn It Off was a funny workout. I almost fell over at least a dozen times. I really need to work on my balance!

Hi, I did CLX push 2 today. I forgot how much she works the shoulders in that one. My mucles were shaking and I had trouble picking up my son after i finished my workout. He wanted cuddle time with mommie after nap. :)
@Stel- I wish I was more of a morning person to do workouts. It would be nice to have them done for he day. I feel it will happen soon enough for me where I won't be able to wokout in the afternoons but I love it right now all the same. I love fire 45ez so much fun.
@Melzy, oh I forgot I did do some stretching today. oh well not like it is a great burn. :) Got to love the stretches they ARE much needed as you said. :)
@Jeni, so glad you got a better burn. I really like burn intrvals LOL I know what you mean about 5lbs being so heavy. What do you think of Janelle and toni in these videos vs TF?
Have a great night ladies see you in the next pm ;P

Got my morning workout in. 55EZ. Did it on an empty stomach and I barely made it through the finales. I need to remember next time for longer cardios to have a little something in me first before I can push through. I even managed to punch myself twice today...always the same part, right before the capoirera. Anyway, I'm doubling up today and doing Stretch 40 later this evening and hope that I can fall asleep right afterwards.

@Jeni, thanks for the reminder. I have to keep reminding myself that inches lost are more impt than the number on the scale. I mean, I can really tell with my clothes. I haven't shopped yet for new clothes yet. I need to that little by little. I have given away a lot of my nicer XL tops away to my friend. Nothing better than when I wear one of my favorite dressy black tops and my kids tell me to stop wearing it because it's too big! I kept some of my Size L's from before and now those are getting loose. I think the next time I shop, I'll be looking for a size Medium in tops.

    Have a great Thursday ladies!

Week 2 of CLX today for me! (Yup, my schedule is messed up, and I'm not starting on Mondays anymore. Argh!) I did Burn Circuit 1 again, and still had a bit of trouble with the posterior fly moves with the bands. They just don't want to bend that way it seems. I switched to my 5lb free weights, and they worked much better, but were way too light.

I just got done with Stretch 40. I really missed that one. It's been awhile since it's been on the schedule. I really needed it.

@Jeni~Are you doing a TF/CLX Hybrid or just CLX?

Does anyone know what exactly is the purpose of a hybrid? Is it just to transition from one to the other? Just curious.

I hope everyone's doing well. Good night all!

    Happy (Early) St Patty's Day!

Today I was about 30 seconds away from starting Fire 60... had the dvd just starting up... and the lady downstairs came home early!! Blaaah! So instead of just moping around, I decided to go to the gym instead. I jogged my fastest mile yet (11 mins... I know that's still pretty slow, but I've got short little legs!).

Preshus- I'm not doing the hybrid per-se... but I am throwing in a Fire for one of the rest days during CLX. I think the hybrid is supposed to offer a lot more cardio than the regular CLX.

Hi ladies, Happy St Pattie's day to you all!!! I didn't have time to workout today. Oh well extra rest day. I will be spending the day cooking with my sista. I may not be around till late as usaul, here lately seems like that is just how I have to roll. I don't have the app for my phone, don't even have a phone that can do apps so I do it on my home computer. When I get time. Jeni, That is great doing a mile in 11 min. I may be tall but I hate to run!!!!!!! So you are doing better then me. Stel, I think the hybrid are just so you don't have to go out and buy new dvds everytime you want to change up your workouts. You really don't want to plateau. So change is required. Well enjoy the rest of your night!!!!!! Keep pushing play! :)
