Sorry I have been absent- I pinched my sciatic nerve. 1st time. that puppy HURTS! then I fell on the ice. Mentioned my stupidity of falling on the ice hard to our Ortho dr (to get some pain relife tips) , who said "well, you do live in Ohio- it's winter."
I replied- Um.. I was playing broomball (like field hockey on the ice)
He was NOT pleased with me. reminded me how old I am....

ANYWAY-
I bid on a 1 month personal trainer sessions and 3 month gm membership at a silent auction- won them both- the week I hurt my hip.. OF COURSE.
I just had my 2nd personal trainer session. Obviously my hips needs a bit more rest. it's all arms and core for another week!
But I got good tips on form for lunges and squats!

Ouch! My husband is a physician, and has seen so many head injuries from falls on ice that he salts the bee-jeezus out of our driveway and it drives me CRAZY!! But he won't budge and acts like I'd rather have the kids fall and break their heads going to the bus.
Very cool about the silent auction wins. Is the trainer good?0
