This is perhaps my favorite bike going right now.

I saw one of those a the Endurance Expo a couple weeks ago. It looks great, I just have this personal aversion to SRAM which I can't quite explain.

    Haha. Just pop for Di2.

Edited to add: I have a friend who just got a P5. I take great pride in beating the pants off of him and his $7k bike.

    Why? I kinda prefer it...

I love beating guys on tri bikes on my road bike while sitting as upright as I can :-)

I think it dates back to several years ago when it was an option on our team bikes and the people with SRAM were having a bunch of problems with the chains binding up on 4 of the 12 bikes ordered).

if it's online somewhere, right click on it to copy the link to the picture and put it between [ img ] [ /img ]

    Bargain!

I thought the PX guys were about due to get something of that nature out of the door ready for this season... pretty much everything they had on the books was either heads-down-racing or CX after the Ti-Sportif went OOS... Glad they've sorted something :)

Okay I'll bite. This bike is currently my desk top img at work. Some classic Italian bike porn.

that Massive "belgian sofa" and the deep drop bars just look completely oversize on a Tiny Ikkle frame like that... The 36h wheels also seem a little "supersized" for a frameset more apparently suited to your typical columbian 55kg mountaingoat. If I was a cynical man, i'd say someone has put the all the componentry from another (probably larger) bike onto that rather lovely columbus frameset. That stem's got to be at, or very very near the limit as well...

While we're on the subject of retro-kit... I found this little cracker in the big box of old bike bits a week or so ago... Apparently, I've always been a bit of a geek on the bike!

    Avocet Altimeter 50 Cycle Computer.

Current/Average/Max. Speed, Trip and Total Distance, Cadence, Stopwatch, Clock, Altitude, Trip and Total Climb/Descent - this was pretty much state of the art for the early/mid 90's... I've got it's baby brother somewhere too... the Avocet 30.

Batteries were dead - one had leaked a little, but nothing a little white vinegar couldn't disperse and clean up. New batteries installed and amazingly enough it works. There's even a couple of the wiring harnesses under the mountainous packaging... Just the thing for one of my old retro bikes I reckon :-)
