My husband's been playing PS2 and really likes it. I tried it and was pretty bored because all I did was die. No shooting or healing, just dying. Anyone play it? Any ideas for having fun if you're incompetent at FPSs like me?

I love the game!
Join a organized squad (press insert) and take bases with a group. You don't have to really hunt people right away to gain experience and certs. Its not a good game to play solo while learning it. I play solo now, but starting out I was always in a squad.
Right away for each class put a Cert into the first level of 'nano weave' armor (costs 1 cert). It will give you 10% more health which should help. Remember to activate this also by going to your loadout screen and selecting the icon for it after it is purchased.
Lately I have found myself terrorizing enemy bases as an Infiltrator. Hacking their supply terminal and placing claymores around their vehicle terminal. Once I get a kill I run to the hacked terminal and replenish my claymores and set them again. Its usually the same 1-2 players at one base that keep running into to claymores then start hunting me. As an infiltrator, you can run away almost invisible (your F key) to the hills and watch them look for you. Rinse/repeat. I get a kick out of it.0 -
Honestly, I tried it and didn't like it. Battlefield 3 in space.0

I tried it once. I was immediately thrown into the game once I started it up and got an account. No tutorial that I could find or any indication as to what the heck I was supposed to do. No clue who to shoot, no clue what to do, just complete confusion. I had to pass on this one. Although I like the concept. Love Sci-fi stuff0

I tried it and enjoyed it for all of a week before I decided that I just didn't like certain key things about the game, with the biggest of which being a lack of tutorial mode.0
