Hello
I have Lupus and some osteoarthritis. I try to walk, do some (recumbent) biking and step aerobics as often as I can, but sometimes it just HURTS. I am learning to listen to my body more, but it sure is not helping my waistline LOL. I would love to swim more, but that costs money. Money I do not have.
Just curious what you do and ,if you do, how do you work out during a flare?
Thanks

I also have lupus and osteoarthritis. Some days are tougher than other to even just get out of bed. For me on my worse days I make myself walk more. I sit at a desk all day so getting up and walking to water cooler in the back of the building is a great break. Now that its starting to warm up (maybe) I'm hoping to start swimming again.0

Yoga is the best exercise for any kind of arthritis. Holding the poses in yoga will also help with muscle strengthening that will give relief to your joints0
