I have soy protein powder that I had originally purchased and thrown into some of my drinks, but there seems to be that split about giving kids too much soy and the bottle actually says no to- so is there a protein powder good for kids smoothies??

I switch between pea protein and brown rice protein powders. Neither tastes good alone with water, but put in a banana (and sometimes a little cocoa powder) and it's good to go.0

rice is my favorite, although i bought a ton of soy protein and have been using that for a while. Pea is okay. What I've been using a lot and adding to smoothies/yogurt/oatmeal/etc is peanut flour. It's 110 calories, 4g fat, 8g carb, and 16g protein per half cup.

Pumpkin seed protein powder! I just bought it, and I'm in love with it already. My first shake is good, and I was able to make it in a shaker bottle.
2 T PB2 (45 calories) (4 g protein)
1/2 T Dark Chocolate Powder (5 calories)
1/2 tsp Truvia
1 serving pumpkin seed protein powder (55 calories) (9.5 g protein)
Almond milk to fill
135 ish calories, 13.5 g protein. Tomorrow I plan to have it in almond milk coffee, so it will be less than 100 calories, 9.5 g protein. The protein is lower than standard powders for a serving, but the calories are halved, so just double it. I'm not ready to try that yet, but the consistency and lack of flavor the way it is is awesome.0 -
I went to a naturopathic physician and she had me get pedia-focus meal replacement, make sure it is the soy or rice. It taste pretty good. I bought it off amazon, the price is pretty reasonable because you only use a scoop at a time. I got the vanilla and it can be mixed with anything.0

MRM Veggie protein powder. It is vegan, soy-free, and has ingredients like chia and flaxseed for omega-3s. I like the chocolate, but vanilla is okay too as long as there is plenty of fruit in the smoothie to cover up the protein powder's flavor. One of my favorite ways to eat this is 2 cups almond milk with one scoop chocolate protein powder and one frozen banana.0
