I'm loving it. It syncs easily to MFP. I have sleep apnea and it allows me to monitor my sleep habits. I really like that it tells me how much time I spend sitting on my butt compared to being active. I love that it tells me how many flights of stairs I climb each day. I am finding it motivating.

I'm working on getting one, hopefully soon after the Mastercard is paid off (again). You can buy one off the website www.fitbit.com or you can get one at an Apple store, it syncs with your iPhone and other Apple products and select Androids (probably not mine LOL) I plan on getting mine at the Apple store near us and looking at an iPad so the staff doesn't faint. ;)

As someone who trains customer service for a living, that's always a plus...

    ...how much is it?

It depends on which one you get. They range from $59-$99. I have the Fitbit One and that is $99. I like the one more than the others because it counts flights of stairs and the others don't. It also has a feature that allows you to set 8 silent alarms (vibrates). Great for reminding yourself to get up and move, take your meds, and a great way to get up in the morning without disturbing the other person since it vibrates. Check out fitbit.com for a chart that lists all there items in chart form comparing all the features each offer. All the apps and the website are free to use with it.

BTW, you can also get Fitbit in Staples... have just been there and saw it... I was tempted - it looks pretty good - but I didn't buy it... I put it on my Amazon wishlist though :)

I am afraid I want one just because it is a cool new gadget and all my friends have one. How sad is that? :blushing:

I have mine connected to MFP but it doesn't do anything. Is there some adjustments I'm supposed to make?

From what one of my friends posts, there are chronic synching issues with firbit and MFP.

LOL lori - I'm a gadget geek too... I try to resist... usually I'm fine, but if I know I could really use it, then I'm hard to dissuade!

The issue with syncing has been fixed. To sync your accounts just go to the apps section of MFP and click connect your account. Just make sure you are logged into both accounts when you do it.
