    Hi all, I've taken a two week break from formal exercise, and have been working a lot in the yard/ garden. But I've been missing the cardio/ walking. So I'm back :smile: I am going to mix up my exercise the rest of the month b/c there is still work to do outside and spring won't last forever in these parts.

    I have been peeking often to see how everyone has been doing, you all are beyond awesome.

    Hey Walking Warriors!

    I have been meaning to update, but I've been so busy getting my walk on! My 7 day Leslie Sansone DVD walking streak is going great! I am super sore all over! It just goes to show that walking away the pounds is the truth! :bigsmile:

    3/1 - 2 mile walk outside and 3 mile Leslie Sansone Weight Loss Walk DVD = 5 miles
    3/2 - 1 mile walk outside and 3 miles of the Biggest Loser Walking DVD = 4 miles
    3/3 - No miles
    3/4 - 4 mile walk on the treadmill at the gym and 1 mile walk outside = 5 miles
    3/5 - 1 mile walk outside
    3/6 - 0.5 mile walk outside and 4 mile walk on the treadmill at the gym wearing my new weighted belt (it goes up to 10 pounds but I only used 5 pounds for my first walk) = 4.5 miles
    3/7 - 4 mile walk on the treadmill wearing a 12 pound weighted vest

    Is it too late to join?! I just signed up last Wednesday and am setting some challenges for myself so I figured joining a group or challenge on here would help me stay motivated. My goal starting last Wednesday was to walk 75 miles between Wednesday, March 13 and Sunday, March 31. I have 2 different Leslie Sansone dvds I am using. 1 has 4 miles on it and the other is her 5 really big miles dvd.

    -3/13: 4 miles
    -3/14: 5 miles
    -3/15: 5 miles
    -3/16: 5 miles
    -3/17: 5 miles
    24 miles so far!!!!!!!



    -3/18: 5 miles
    -3/19: 5 miles
    -3/20: 5 miles
    39 miles so far!!!!!!

    *36 miles left to walk in 11 more days:)

    Hi, my friends
    So sorry I couldn't walk with you for a week. Someone passed on a nice virus to me and I was MIA due to temperature and loss of voice :wink:
    I did 2 bellyblasting miles on the 15th and 4 miles outdoors on the 16th. Today I started again but couldn't do more than 3. Yes, I have to ease in again.
    You are all so dedicated, wow, what a nice group:flowerforyou:
    As far as I can see Setang and Vkmoorthy are almost at goal:flowerforyou: Have a beautiful weekend, friends

    New here---a little late for March--but I AM here. I got 8103 steps in today, including 2 miles of LS 5 Mile Challenge. Not too bad for having a stomach virus earlier in the day. So good to be here and be back on track! Keepin' the faith...Dawn:happy:
