I'm in love. I was afraid that the reviews promoting a good consistency and lack of offensive taste were full of it. They weren't!

9.5 g of protein per 55 calories. I haven't tried doubling it yet to see what the consistency is like. If it ends up being terrible, no biggie, because drinking these shakes is not a chore. I was able to make this in a shaker bottle with a little PB2 and cocoa powder and Truvia, so it's not tons of fruit masking the taste. (I'm willing to bet that doubled in a smoothie it would be just fine for sure.)

I'm gonna have to try this. I've had a hard time with liking any protein powder at all, though I found that I find PlantFusion to be the best I've tried (I can drink it without hating it, but it's not fun lol) so I'm definitely still exploring options. I was looking at the website and it looks interesting, thanks!

Oh wow, comparing protein doses in powders for the other thread this comes out really high... for comparing grams of powder to grams of protein, Omega Nutrition's pumpkin powder has about 30g protein where most veggie and non-veggie powders have 15-20. That's pretty darned good, I hope it tastes okay lol.

I imagine it must, pumpkin seeds when slightly roasted for a snack at home are delicious... I can't imagine they're much different raw and pulverized!

To get the 30 g of protein you would need 3 servings, which is still not bad, just account for it in the price if that is a factor. The Omega brand has 40 servings, so 30 g a day would be two tubs a month, I think.

I have tried pretty much all vegan protein powders, except for the really pricey "blends," and none have been nearly as taste neutral as this one. I doubt I'll ever see any reason to use a different one. I still have Now pea protein, but the taste is really rough (to me.) I'll use it up and probably be done. Especially as the new tub dropped the protein down 4 grams from what it said before, making it slightly less amazing.

If you aren't using a shaker bottle already, this stuff works great in one.

Yeah, price wouldn't be a concern for me. I just use them occasionally as a here and there supplement. Wish I'd found something more neutral back when I had to take one a day... mannnnn. lol.

I got rid of my shaker bottle a while back but plan on buying a new one if I find a powder I can like better hand-mixed with things (I've otherwise been just using what I have in smoothies and a little in tofu scrambles and stuff to cover my amino acids more than bump my grams). I plan to get back to lifting again in the next two months after my move is done and I'm in a new gym and want to find one I don't mind using more often.
