I'm due with my 4th child in October. I'm overweight and trying to not gain anything with this pregnancy but so far have not been successful. I struggle with nausea all day and eating is the only way to keep it under control. I’m trying to make healthy choices but I struggle with that when I’m not pregnant. I’m still hopeful that I won’t gain much since I don’t want to have baby weight to lose on top of the weight I already carry.
Anyone got ideas for easy, healthy snacks?0 -
The things I have been snacking on are:
bananas
tangerines
yogurts
cheese strings
granola bars0 -
I'm 13 1/2 weeks right now - I find that my appetite seems limitless. If it's in front of me, I'll eat it because I'm always starving. I'm just trying to go with the flow because I haven't gained anything yet so I figure I'm hungry for a good reason, but I inhale apples and bananas like they're going out of style - turkey bacon and sausages, turkey burgers, salmon, chicken...it all disappears. I have a rough time with veggies still but otherwise will eat just about anything and everything. Sunflower seeds are a big one here, they help me deal with salty cravings (taste salty but fairly lowish sodium - high in fat but a good fat so I don't worry).
Sometimes bland/plain chips help my stomach if I feel queasy - it doesn't happen if I am always eating but if I go without I do feel a bit green, so plain chips help. Isn't that terrible? Lol.0 -
NO that's great! Sounds like you got a good rythym going for you. I am still dealing with the exhaustion, I am soooo tired all the time, it is crazy lol0
