I was recently presented with a research report analysis based on the best ways to infiltrate an online community. Based on my experience this site has a perfect mixture of like minded people and would show a great example of diversity. So if you come across this post and have a few minutes please answer a couple of the questions. Thanks for your participation
Is there anything you would change with the community?
What keeps you coming back to the community?
How has the website helped you?
What advice would like give a new comer?
Are there unwritten rules to the community?
What do you believe is the goal of the Myfitnesspal.com community?
What is essential for proper etiquette when being an active member of the community?
Who do you believe is the dominating demographic in the community?

1.) the only thing I would change about the wiste is it's hard to find some of the more exotic foods on here.
2.) What keeps me coming back is the fact that I can log from anywhere on the mobile app, and i get incouragement from the people that are my friends.
3.) The website helps me by keeping everything that I eat in front of me so I can't trick myself into thinking I ate less then I actually did.
4.) My advice to new comers is to take all of the comments on the forum with a grain of salt. What worked for someone may not work for you because we're all different people. Don't let the haters get to you.
5.) I don't think there are any unwritten rules on the site.
6.) I believe the goal of Myfitnesspal is to give peolpe a place where they can find encouragment, advice, and companionship during their weight loss/gain experience.
7.) The only thing I think is essential etiquette is don't be a jerk. everyone is entitled to their opinion, as long as it's not hurting anyone. If you don't like what they have to say don't friend them or read their forum post.
8.) I would say women are the dominate demographic.0
