Isaiah 50:10 (NIV)
"Who among you fears the Lord and obeys the word of his servant? Let the one who walks in the dark, who has no light, trust in the name of the Lord and rely on their God."
Trust is a big issue for many, including me. Ever since my divorce, which was 14 years ago, I haven't trusted anyone. Every time I open myself to anyone or let my guard down, bad things happen and then I'm back in my shell again. I do trust and rely on God 90% of the time...it's the other 10% that I have to lay down my life and give to Him. See, I tend to over-analyze things and get caught up in the details of theology instead of just living each moment in Him. I put myself in the dark and I need to trust in the name of the Lord and rely on God. He knows what is best for me, even when I don't.
Time to shine for God! Keep the faith everyone and have a blessed day!
