So I am one of those people who just kinda dive right in to playing a game before reading that little instruction booklet that comes with it . So diving right in I am learning about and discovering things about YSFE 2013. Like I just discovered how and where to use the coins that keep racking up after each workout session. I probably would have figured that out if I would have read that little booklet first...LOL. Anywhoo...so I used my first 12,000 coins to unlock trainers and workouts...woohoo. So I have just begun to get my game on with YSFE 2013 it appears. Looking forward to unlocking all the workouts. In the middle of the first week of my first 4 week workout session currently. I am liking the way the game keeps you moving with the various exercises...one right after the other. I say that because for the last 18 months I have been using EA Sports Active 2 and NFL Training Camp on the Wii which has a bit more time with transitioning from one exercise to the next...which is just fine by me. YSFE 2013 has been a nice change of pace. After about nine weeks of YSFE 2013 I will be jumping back into NFL TC to conquer the "hard" difficulty level. Also I am always looking for people to challenge so add or friend me if you want...(however that works for UPLAY) still figuring that one out also.

I have a Wii-U (& a PS3) and I have been eye-balling the CRAP out of this game. Are you playing on the regular Wii?

I have YSFO 2012 for Kinect and am loving the heck out of the kickboxing part of it, along with jogging around the world and whatnot. I really only use it for cardio because I lift weights separately already.

I think for $30 you could do a lot worse, and if you're a homebody like myself who enjoys exercising in her living room, then I recommend it even though the sensor doesn't always work properly ... but, yanno ... it's fine.

Using this game on the Wii-U. I am in the second week of a 4 week session. Today I did a Core and Kickboxing session. Great stuff. The game keeps you moving during the working and goes 'til the end.

Have been thinkin' about starting a group for this...maybe.

Ahhh! I haven't talked to anyone who owns this on Wii-U yet. Does it make use of the GamePad?
I realllyyyyyy think I'm going to end up buying this.

It does indeed use the GamePad. On some workouts it shows the calorie counter and workout time and in other workouts like the Zen Flow sessions you use it to follow the energy spark. It is very interesting and I am looking forward to getting more into it. The name I use on the Wii-U is the same as in Myfitnesspal if you wish to send a friend request there.

Any advice on how to get the game to pick up my movements a little better on the wii U. Its a little annoying when you do the workout exactly like you should and it dosnt even register that you did it. Cant get the daily to do's that require you to get a certain percent done because it dosnt pick up my movements.

I'm still waiting on a replacement part for my WiiU. Is this game worth looking into?

Not sure about the WiiU stuff, but I'm using Nike+ Kinect for the Xbox, and you can tell it's HEAVILY influenced by P90X and Insanity...right down to some of the motivating lines:

"You can do anything for 30 seconds!" uh huh.

It's BRUTAL, and I LOVE IT!

Using it to suppliement my marathon training.
