If you're in maintenance, do you still use the MFP diary?

Do you feel like you've integrated your new good habits, or do you need the ongoing reinforcement?

I am still pretty new to maintenance, so feel like logging works the best for me. Though I have been more relaxed on weekends;)

I've been in maintenance for about 3 months so far, and continue to log my food and exercise every day. Last time I got to goal weight (in 2006) and stopped tracking, I gained back half of the weight lost as I gradually slid down the slippery slope into my previous bad habits. I worked *so* hard this time, and now I'm more fit than I've ever been in my life. I really want to keep the weight off and stay fit. It's a lot easier than re-losing sometime in the future when I'm over 50/menopausal.

If I were willing to live a life without at least 2-3 sweets per day, maybe I could just let go of my control-freak tendencies, be one of those people who gives up sugar and white flour, and not have to log anymore because I would be so full from all of the lentils, vegetables, salmon, etc. that I wouldn't have to track anymore to avoid going over calories. But I'm just not willing to give up my daily chocolate, granola bars, brownies, potato chips, salted nuts, etc. If that means I'll have to be vigilant about my food choices forever, I guess that's the price I'll have to pay. So far, it's worth it. I like keeping track of data/bean-counting/using gadgets like my HRM, so I don't mind having to be a little OCD about it.

I still log even though I'm maintaining as it helps me keep track. There are days I don't log my entire day because I have a cheat day and I don't want to count anything so yes I still log and I don't mind doing it.

I'm not in maintenance yet, but I'm planning to use MFP or the equivalent to log calories pretty much for the rest of my life. Maybe if I live to 80 I will stop giving a crap, and will just do what I want.

I've been in maintenance since the fall, but I'm still logging because I've lost the weight before only to gain it back. I need the accountability.

not quite into maintenance yet - but I will plan on being here everyday just like I have been the last 14 months. I know me - and if I don't log it and see the numbers I will start fudging and then it will go downhill from there - even tho' I have the LapBand...

Still hovering just above maintenance, but yes logging is what I do now. Probably what I'll do forever.

I'm still about 11 pounds from goal weight, but in essence I've been "maintaining" that weight for months now... so yes, I'm in maintenance mode even though I don't mean to be there.
Yes, I still log in every day. It keeps me honest.
