Any Women Lifting Heavy in Houston?

Are there any women in Houston lifting heavy? If so, where do you go? Do you recommend a gym, trainer?

    I bought a squat rack and lift at home. And since I don't have a spotter, I carefully gauge my abilities each lift day! :)

    I've been following the "New Rules of Lifting" series: for Abs and Supercharged ... I kind of mix them together now.

    I am:) I had a trainer for several years at an awesome gym in the Galleria are. I LOVED my trainer but decided to give my wallet a break for a little bit, Now I am using the gym at my office.

    I live in an apartment, so an at home gym isn't really an option for me.

    jtslim42: Did you trainer teach you how to lift heavy? I can't seem to find a trainer that believes in lifting heavy for women, they all say low weight, high rep to me.
