I have no recipes for you because I dislike smoothies. MILKSHAKES WHERE IT'S AT!

I don't ever buy smoothies, so I don't know what you're used to. What I make starts with raw goat milk (3/4 c.), a carrot, a cup of raw fresh spinach, and then I sweeten it with two or three different frozen fruits. When fruits are in season, we'll buy a bunch when it's on sale, wash or dice and then freeze them. That's what I use. Generally I choose from 1/2 cup of frozen blueberries, mango, strawberries, bing cherries (pitted before freezing), or a half banana.

Mangoes are in season now, so we bought a bunch, and I cut them all up, and then divided them into freezer bags laid out in about 1/2-inch layer with the bag flat. That way I can just break off a chunk, throw it in the blender, and toss the rest back in the freezer.

I just got a Nutribullet, and am following the same basis format as JTS_go. I've been using almond milk (but will try goat, thanks JTS!). I also throw in flax and/or chia seeds.

Silken tofu (about 1/2 of one of those little boxes that are on the shelf, not refrigerated), 1/2 - 1 frozen banana (my freezer is where aging bananas go to live), handful of frozen berries and juice or milk or even water. Blend the **** out of that. If your bananas are really ripe, your smoothie will be really sweet.

I also make chocolate banana milkshakes with the tofu, frozen banana, cocoa powder and milk or almond milk or soy milk or whatever. Again, just whiz it up in the blender. If you like it thicker, add crushed ice.

My best beloved wooed me with mango lassis: mango, yogurt, mango juice and ice in the blender. Then we'd go hike. Just celebrated our 8th anniv.
