Intro and Goals

I have done two half marathons and many 5K's! I maintain 15mm
I want to lose all this baggage that I have put on since 1996!
My goals are to walk daily starting at 30 mins a day
go to the gym swim 30 mins a day! I have a bad knee!
Strength train daily with light 8lbs weights, I want lean Muscle!!!

that's about it

    Those are great goals, Tammy!! Swimming is a GREAT workout and it is much, much easier on your knees than running. If you walk on a treadmill, try putting in on low incline. Walks with incline make great workouts!!

    Not exactly sure what a reasonable goal would be, maybe I won't set one. I know I'll be burning a lot of calories however as next Monday I am starting the Insanity challenge. Dig deep!
  • Thanks for the advice! I do walk at a 2 incline on our treadmill right know. Had knee surgery in 2011, I get 3 knee injection every three months and they are amazing its Orthovisc has done the trick! it lubes the knee! I am 99% pain free as long as I dont push beyond what I really can do! small steps but giant results!!!
