Vegans?

Hey! I'm just wonder if there are any other vegans here ? I'd love to find someone local to share motivation and good info on local finds.

Thanks!

I'm not sure how many there are in the indy group. My sister is, but alas, i am not. I've heard good things though. Good luck on finding more people.

I once was a vegetarian in my younger days, but I really didn't know what I was doing nutrition wise. I had some issues and had to give it up, and haven't since gotten the motivation...

I'm working on changing my lifestyle toward vegetarian, baby steps... baby steps.... would love some advice if you would like to share...
I live in a house with two men (fiancee and son) who are no where near vegetarians... I really dont care for the taste of meat, or the feeling of it being "stuck", so I would rather not have to dread my meals, if you know what I mean. ;)

Bummer I was really hoping to find some locals =)

Calliou- My advice- do what feels right for you. I'm lucky in that my family transitioned with me so I had support, but I would have done it alone if I had to. I went from pure carnivore to pure vegan overnight, literally. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask.

I'm a pescatarian, close-ish right? :) I avoid dairy, but fall on eggs and occasionally seafood for easy protein because I am working out. I know it's not an excuse and I could get what I need through a vegan diet but I am usually short on time and money for food prep and meal planning :) So anyway, Hi!
