Nothing to be scared about. Going to cons is a BLAST. The majority of the people are friendly and welcoming. In the maritimes were also big huggers XD. My first con was Hal-con went with my best friend Barry and we cosplays ciel and Sebastian. I redid Ciel at animaritimes and met up with a HUGE black butler group over there. That cosplay is now retired. Hoping Ill have enough time to make a Rhys cosplay for Animaritimes if I can make it as my Con buddy Pam and I are Crossplaying Rhys and Axis from Teahouse
Few photos of my first Con
Me and my sebby at the steampunk booth
Me with a local celebrity fat Apollo, He is awesome!
And for fun.Photo of the whole costume at the costume contest at animaritimes
Its just to show not to let weight take the fun out of cosplaying. You can still have a blast even if your not at your ideal weight. Just have fun and rock it . Losing the weight and toning is for us and self esteem and health.0 -

Well I went to the Phoenix comi con yesterday and was a little disappointed..I kept looking for more!! I thought the price to get in for what was available was ridiculous!! there seemed to be a lack of tables and chairs cause everyone was sitting on the floor everywhere trying to eat their food.everything was really expensive!!! I did leave the place with 3 star trek shirts, a star trek pin, 2 art copies, and a full metal alchemist shirt....it was really crowded and everyone was bumping into each other..it seemed unorganized...everyone was just wondering around looking for something to do but the costumes looked great! I'll probably not go next year maybe try to go to one in San Diego...0

Trying to get back into my costumes....or else I have to wear my "chubby" costumes from a few years ago.0 -

I work Sakuracon and GeekGirlCon in Seattle every year, and will be hitting Anime Expo this year (finally, so excited!). Queue permitting, I'd also like to attend a day of PAX Prime, but it's so hard to get into.0
