Great first day of May! I earned some liquor calories today by hiking to "Delicate Arch". We were in better shape this time and did well! It was a three mile hike with elevation gain over sandstone. Here is a pic of me under the arch. Awesome day!

April just flew by...and it was by far my LEAST lushy month in a long, long time. However, now I fear that since the weather is getting warmer (or was...we're supposed to get snow tomorrow)...I'll be busting out the wine more often when it's all pretty & sunny outside...and weekend BBQ's. Man oh man. Really need to step up my workout schedule...0

I've been keeping up my lushness and currently doing so with a marg. It was gorgeous today and still is so a marg with some lit candles and one of my favorite shows makes for a fabulous night alone while husband is stuck at work.

Wednesday-5oz of tropical punch vodka and sprite zero and 6oz of white wine

Tonight I'm going to a melodrama with my girlfriends (I won free tickets yesterday!!) so we're going out to dinner and then to the show. Will probably have a couple of drinks...but not more than 2. It's icky weather today. Went from 80+ the other day to 30 today with a high of 40. Gosh I really hate Kansas sometimes!! I just want SPRING!! Tomorrow I'll be getting a spray tan (hope I don't look orange, I'm awfully pale...like ghost white). And so happy tomorrow is Friday!!

Wine yesterday and brown ale tonight - it's going to be a rockstar weekend with girlfriend that I've know for over 30 years. We used to hang out in the alley's and think about "Wow, someday we'll be like 30" Now, we are put toward 50 and where the 'ef did the 30's disappear too?

:bigsmile: Steak - Lobster - Red wine and white roses. It was a good anniversary. I came home to Doug trying to get the kitchen cleaned up before I got there so I wouldn't have to do it. Then he cooked dinner. I got him a Samsung Galaxy tab 2 and he got very emotional. I think I did good.
Its friday and it is supposed to be beautiful here this weekend. I plan to work in the yard. That burns calories and requires cold beverages to keep me going. :drinker:

Lushy May for me so far. Started off right at the horse track Wednesday and partied like a rockstar for Oaks and Derby. Vacation is Saturday so I may shoot for 0s till at least THursday. May have a drink or two tomorrow as we're doing Mothers Day dinner with my inlaws. Then it's Moderation Between Vacations for me.0

Ok....I'm officially on the wagon. My staycation was awesome but I definitely over did it. I woke up Sunday with bruises on my body I have no clue how they ended up there :blushing: I'm way too old for that kind of nonsense.
I have my annual check up later this month, so what better time to get my act together than now? So we'll see how long I go with the zeros...but I'm shooting for no more than a handful of drinks between now and my appointment.
All bets are off Memorial day tho...we have another vacation planned and are flying the son in from college for the weekend to join us in Laguna Beach. :bigsmile:0 -

Friday-1 beer and 1 LARGE cocktail. We picked up cherry lemonade vodka.....ehhh def not as good as the tropical punch. I prob wouldn't buy again!
Saturday-1 beer, 1 teeny cocktail and LOTS of white wine at the communion party!
Sunday-2 1/2 beers and 2 snall margaritas!
Not sure about tonight. We have to take one of the cats to the vet. His stomach has been distended since we got back from hawaii. I called the vet and she said to monitor his eating, drinking and bathroom habits, which all seem normal but I'm concerned so will prob have to do x-rays. Wish us luck!

Daughter graduated Saturday with her BA in Economics from Ga Tech! One down one to go. My folks have been visiting since Thursday and they are uber-religious thus not a lot of drinking for me. I did have a glass of wine each day and a margarita Sunday for Cinco de Mayo. They left this morning. Scale is up a couple pounds so I really need to be more diligent. Lately my willpower has been *kitten*. Must get off the fail boat.0
