I plan getting at least 15,000 steps today. Yesterday I got 14,000 and it felt so good. I am going to try restarting the C25k again today. I started two week back but decided to put it off until my body got used to the extra daily movement.

Got to get the weekly groceries today to stay on plan with food for the rest of the week.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

I LOVE saturdays. I am not on call so it is usually my long run day. It looks gorgeous outside- this will be the warmest day we have had since last september! I am aiming for 7 miles. Going to town later in the day for groceries, may splurge on an ice cream if I get the 7 done.
Hope everyone has a great day :flowerforyou:

My commitment for today is my riding lesson (already done); I need to buy some healthy groceries to stock up for the coming week. Also I would like to get a good walk in today and work on some strength training.

May the 4th be with you hahahaha :)

Today I did day 3 for the 30 day shred and Pilates for 40 mins. Then I went shopping which I walked 10,000 steps. I'm having a great day so far and can't wait for the weigh in tomorrow.

Hope y'all have a good day.

Today I challenged myself to a longer walk - 2.5 miles - and I did it! No breaks and that fat cried

Today my husband and I challenged ourselves with a longer walk than our usual. We walked 6 miles on a new (for us) path. So many people were out walking/jogging. It was nice!

My challenge will be to get my 30 DS workout in. I've got lots of kid schlepping to do today for rehearsals and such.

I ran another 5k this morning. Not sure on my time yet but I think it was around 31-32 minutes. I couldn't keep up with my aunt - she finished in 27 minutes! Maybe next time. . . I'm very proud of my 6 year old daughter, who also completed the 5k. She was going to walk with my grandma (her great-grandma), but she decided to run some too. It was a very proud moment for this mommy to see her running to the finish line! Then, I saw my grandma RUNNING the final stretch too a little later!! It was a great morning. I've decided the women in my family are very determined - which is a great thing!

Anyway, I also completed Level 1 Day 4 of 30DS, so I'm feeling good about that! The rest of the day I'll be spending with my husband - we're going to take a very cold ride on the Harley, then maybe grab some dinner and movie, or dinner and then see a band play somewhere - not sure yet.

Looking forward to the weigh in tomorrow!

It's 37 degrees here but it finally quit raining (we had freezing rain this morning), so I got out and did my C25K workout, then walked an extra 3000 steps because my step count was very low. Yesterday was a rest day, so I was happy to be able to get out for my workout today.

Where are you? We lived just east of Rochester (Macedon/Walworth area) for 4 yrs & I went to nursing school in Canandaigua. Salt water runs through my veins, but I do really miss the Finger Lakes.
