Ate meat today and was very disappointed

I ordered takeout for the first time in 59 days. Mostly out of sheer laziness. I ordered Chinese food, it was expensive and in my opinion not that good. Like, I did not get that "at last" feeling after I took a bite. The rice was a bit off. I gave the rest of the food away and while I was cleaning my plate I was thinking about all the vegan alternatives I was craving and could have had. I was going to polish off a box of whoppers but I just gave them to my brother instead.
I am kind of disappointed with myself but at the same time I am glad that I did it because now I am probably going to take vegan life more seriously.

I don't eat at all anymore, ever. But occasionally I will eat something with cheese it in. It does not happen often, but when it does it is a great reminder of why I have switched to a plant based diet. Don't beat your self up over it, it is not the end of the world!0

Do't be hard on yourself..Every next meal is a new beginning! Just don't look back..it can't be changed..only upi can change the future by making better choices, and staying plant strong! You can do it..It's a minor hiccup..live and learn...0

Everyone needs a cheat day every now and then. Sometimes I need to eat a sandwich on REAL bread with REAL cheese. I totally get it.0

redhead- I eat real bread all of the time and it's vegan... though I make it fresh.
I will admit the last time we went to our favorite mexican place I ate some of the cheese dip stuff.... then was sick as a dog.
I don't really have the urge to eat cheese since that and that was my last lingering craving.0 -

^This. Ask yourself why u went vegan in the first place.0 -
My philosophy is that we do our best and praise ourselves for the good that we do. You've had your Chinese food. It's over. Now you can focus on all the good vegan things that you can eat. Don't beat yourself up about it.0

1 meal out of all the meals we eat in our lives is like a drop in the ocean! I hope your not feeling too sick from it, if I accidentally eat any animal products I get really ill!0

Not everyone here has a vegan diet due to ethics, just throwing that out there. Some people seek it for preference or health.0

If you miss meat then try some of the meat substitues around, there are some really good ones these days.
I've been Vegan for 13 years and they made it much easier. Obviously keep an eye on calories etc. as you would with any other foods.
If your in the UK/Europe try Redwood foods they are fantastic!
