HAHA Yeah I'm definitely just kidding, holy moley it's tough. I just finished day 2's plyometrics. Does anyone else get sore arches of their feet?? Cardio wise I can keep up fairly well, but my feet ache so much when doing some of the exercises. Does anyone else have this problem?? If so what helps it, or will my feet eventually adapt to the movements??

What type of surface to you use for Insanity? Maybe you need new shoes. Personally, I do Insanity in bare feet in my carpeted basement and have no problems.0

I've heard others say they do it barefooted. I'm kinda scared to try it tho.0 -
I definitely wouldn't do it barefoot or are on any surface that is not carpet. I don't know how the people in the video do it in that gym, but all that jumping would seem very bad for my feet, hands, knees, elbows, etc. I did Tae-bo for years barefoot (well really with just socks on) and I totally regretted it later as my feet started to blister. Not pretty. Thank goodness my feet have heeled and from now on, I have on a comfortable pair of gym shoes! I prefer running shoes that are light.0

I bought the lightest weight crosstrainers I could find. Fixed that issue for me. The model is the Jordan RCVR. They aren't pretty but give awesome lateral support and are very light!0

The first week of Insanity killed my arches too. I have REALLY bad bunions so I have arch supports from "The Good Feet Store," so I had to take out the big support and go to the casual support and that helped with my arch cramping. Now my feet are used to the impact and I don't have any issues now.0

I wear under armour cross trainer shoes. I do it at the gym on a rubber type surface.0

I had that my first few days off & on as well. Your feet will get used to it. I do Insanity to both sneakers & socks, depending on how I'm feeling that day.0

I do it barefoot on laminated floor because I found that my shoes were making the arches of my feet ache because they weren't proper cross training shoes so until I get some I have to make do with barefoot. Barefoot is okay when you get used to it but be careful - especially if you do it on laminated floor like me lol0 -
My feet and shins were killing me the first week. I bought crosstrainers with a gel cushion in them to help absorb the shock and it has helped a lot. I also bought calf compression sleeves and they have helped both my feet and my shins as well.0

Perfect form will reduce the impact, take care to always land softly.0
