General Question

General question. I have the white all in one pedometer. I went for a 4 mile walk (I know this for sure). Came back and Striiv said it was 5.4 miles and burned 790 calories. I have a heart monitor and burn 400 calories. Should I adjust my stride length. This morning it was set for 2.0 feet. Should I move it up or down. HELP! Having lost my fitbit, it always underestimated everything, so going the otherway, I am completely lost.

I'd do a little searching on the Striiv FAQ (or maybe contact their support team), but I've noticed that Striiv usually doubles the actual amount of calories burned. The mileage is finicky too, so I'm not really sure about that one.

I haven't had a problem yet with the steps being inaccurate, so what you could do is see how many steps it took for you to walk 4 miles, and just use that number of steps as a measure of your average mileage (at least until Striiv fixes their algorithm).

    Good luck!
