Fellow PCOS sisters, what combo of vits/suppliments are you on and have had success with? I recently discovered by some article in the internet that Vitamin D and Calcium really help with PCOS symptoms and weight loss. Any others you notice help?

I've heard a lot about cinnamon , I started taking it and I started to become hungrier on cinnamon so I begain to eat closer to what the trainer wanted me to 1700 calories when I don't work out and I noticed that my weightloss did not change it actually might have sped up slightly despite the increased food.0

I'm currently taking:
something called Glucoplex (http://www.douglaslabs.ca/products-detail-dl.cfm?litm=GST-HYC) for blood sugar
Vitamin D
5-MTHF (http://www.thorne.com/products/neurological-support/prd~b129.jsp) which is just a form of folic acid
and I'm about to start something called Estro Adapt (http://www.aor.ca/products-page/advanced/estro-adapt/) for excess estrogen, and progesterone cream (only used for half the month)
Oh and I take a multivitamin.0 -
I'm on vit-D, but my endocrinologists tests my levels for that. Mine were REALLY low, so after my prescription strength dosing, i'm on 2000u a day. I work in the basement of the hospital0

Yah when I was last tested, I was the lowest my doc had ever seen. They put me on 3000u per day for 4 months, but I am back down to 1000 now.
Hopefully it the supplement helps!0 -
I take B12, garlic gels, and vitamin d in the morning. I take a multivitamin during the lunch. Sometimes I'll do another liquid b12 then as well.0

I take B complex, Saw Palmetto and Vitex for my PCOS. I take a few other things but those are specifically for PCOS (like a multi, MSM, fish oils). I just read that Omega 3's are super good for PCOS. I've taken them before but don't right now because I eat chia seeds almost daily and they're supposed to be a really good source of Omega 3's.
Just found this. Might interest some of you...
