Reason for lack of posting

Just wanted to do a quick post to say why I haven't been posting in the commitments so much this week, some of you may have noticed if you are a friend as well that my diary has been very bad this week on top of that.
Past few weeks been down with a cold, and the first week I pulled a muscle in my neck, which meant gym and swimming was out of the question. I did as much as I could diet wise that first week and as much exercise as I could manage at home , knowing that if my neck hurt too bad I was already home so didn't have to worry about driving etc.
My energy level completely dropped this week, I managed Monday, but because I'd pushed through the cold and still did exercise I was basically snuffed out. I ended up sleeping between shifts and as soon as I got home, and not worrying about my diet as I just needed energy, so it went upside down and inside out, sometimes I'd eat tonnes as I was hungry then not eat for dinner etc.
So yeah I just wanted to let people know that's why I've been off the scene a bit posting wise, but I've lost just over half a pound this week despite that, and I'm feeling a lot better and full of energy, I just need to try not to push myself every day with the exercise and do a little 10 min thing on my rest days instead of 30mins to half an hour. I've got an event tonight and a family event tomorrow, and then I'll be back and posting in the commitments etc and ready to rumble!

Sounds like a miserable couple of weeks. Your body was clearly telling you this past week to rest! Hope you're feeling better this upcoming week.0

Yeah I've missed the energy! Going to have an early night tonight so hopefully I'll be rested up for this week and all set to get my exercise groove on0

Glad you are still here and still committed. I hate those setbacks...weather it is sickness or in my case shin splints that are finally healed! yay! Just get back into the groove...glad to see you got your swim on this morning!!!0
