Happy Wednesday Everyone!! We are downhill now to our 3 day weekend woohoo!!

How is everyone doing?? I hope the new or ongoing workouts are treating you all well :)

I just completed D1 L1 of 30 day shred and am shocked at how much a month off of working out can effect me, I feel like I am so out of shape but it feels great to be moving my body again... once the workout is over that is haha.

Where is everyone at with their workouts? Goals etc? It helps to get to know everyone and their workout routine to help encourage one another

Right now, I'm rotating between JM's Kickbox FastFix workouts (there are 3) and her Killer Buns & Thighs workouts (I just started Level 2). I like the variation of the videos. I have a created my own calendar where I do KFF-W3 Monday, KB&T Tuesday, KFF-W1 Wednesday, KB&T Thursday, KFF-W2 Friday, and KB&T Saturday. I also walk 3-4 times a week, but I have started the C25K program so that is what I've been supplementing with for the past week. AND I do Fluidity (from the infomercials) 2x a week. If I'm feeling crazy, I will throw in JM's Extreme Shed & Shred workouts. Starting June 17, I will be doing JM Body Revolution!

Just did d1 l1 today of shred. It has been about 6 weeks since I last did it... YIKES! But I guess shaky arms and sweat are a good thing. My goal is to finish this time! I know if I finish all the other stuff like weight and inches will follow with-out beating myself up over a specific weight goal.

Way to go! Restarting can be tough! How was it using the 5lb weights?! I wanted to start D1L1 Monday, but it's hard being sick. I feel like I am on the mend so I'll be starting D1L1 tomorrow. I would LOVE to do the Jillian videos 4-5 days a week. Are you doing the 30 days consecutively? I'd love to know how people approach that. Keep up the goo work!

When it came to 30DS, I tried to do the 30 days straight. I ended up hurting my knee in the middle of Level 2 and took 4 days off. Then when I started up again, I just picked up on whatever day I left off on. At the end of my 30 days, I tacked on 3 more days: 1 day of each level. Following 30DS, I did JM Ripped in 30 challenge for 30 days consecutively. However, that is just how I approached these 2 workout DVDs. A lot of MFP posters have said that Jillian stated in one of her podcasts that she never intended for them to be done 30 days straight. She always intended for people to take at least one rest day a week.

I think rest days are really important so I always rest 1 day minimum, usually Saturdays. My plan due to a wedding eekkk... is to finish 30 day shred in 36 days, 2 rest days per level but we will see. I totally listen to my body and do as it says day by day. Once wedding season is over I want to do 30 day shred maybe 3-4 days a week and then mix in hiking, 6 week six pack, and maybe a yoga.
