Not sticking to the schedule?

I haven't been doing turbo fire that long, and my main goal with it is weight loss. I'm wondering if instead of doing the longer workouts when scheduled I replace it with one of the shorter ones (fire 30, HIIT 20) will that make weight loss slower? The longer workouts aren't harder, they just kind of go on a little too long for me and I feel burnt out on them when I do them, and my motivation for getting through a 45 or 55 minute workout is dwindling. The short workouts are tough and keep me focused and when they're over I'm shocked at how time flew. Has anyone else gone off the schedule and continued having good results?

I think the point of the longer workouts is to build stamina.I'd think you could pair up 2 shorter ones on those days as a replacement to keep your attention or a extra activity of another sort. I don't do the stretch videos but that's the extent of my rebellion.

Usually when your body doesn't like doing a workout it's because it is hard for your body...which means you should probably do it. Even if you don't feel like it is more of a workout, each workout is different and works different muscles. I would recommend following the schedule your first time through for best results. Plus that will make it easier to avoid HIIT on two consecutive days (or more than 4 times a week)...which is not recommended. Like Iremi said...the longer workouts will help your cardio and build stamina and endurance, which is important too. Push through it!

I'm incline to agree with this, although I have gone off schedule for various reasons. That 55EZ...I struggle to stay motivated to do the whole thing but LOVE Fire 60 (weird). i use to skip the Stretch 40 but NOW...I look forward to it coming up on the schedule and it always seem to come riiiiiight when I need it.

All that to say...do what works for you and try to incorporate the routines you struggle with more often. :flowerforyou:

Thanks for all the advice girls :) That makes a lot of sense, and I will definitely do my best to stick to the schedule.

Hi, I would also like to ask some advice on the schedule. I just stated yesterday and I plan to do all the workouts but just shuffle the days around slightly. As I work 12.5 hr shifts and don't fancy doing a 50 minute workout, but would be ok doing a shorter one. Do you think this is ok?
