I was going to do a weigh in this weekend, it's been a few weeks since I've done one but I'm menstruating this week and I'm so scared that the water retention is going to make me weight heavy. I can never tell if it's water or fat so I'm kinda scared. How do you manage that without totally freaking out? I want to know if I'm progressing but if I've gained or I'm holding onto water I don't want to end up spazzing over it. grr

If you have waited that long and it's worrying you then wait a few more days, I tend to weigh more the few days before I come on then go back to normal. Also I would say that I cope with always the best of 3 weigh in, I weigh weekly and if it's up or down for 3 weighs in a row I can adjust food accordingly Im just maintaining my weight x

I would wait to weigh. I usually retain water and weigh more during premenstrual- menstruation periods.

I weighed for the heck of it and was up by a LOT. I'm not sure if it's water retention from hormonal flux and exercising, I have being body weight training, or weight gain. I might try again in a few days after not having quite as much sodium and maybe see how I can do with weekly weigh ins, just so I can keep track of things better. I'm trying to stay calm and rational about it all.
