Oh Diana...hope the family drama eases up for you. Do we ever stop worrying about our kids? I get to see mine tomorrow and I'm just beside myself with excitement. I already warned him that he's going to have to endure many mom hugs this weekend and to just suck it up and deal.

I'm packing up for our getaway to Laguna Beach. The booze alone will take up a good portion of the back of the SUV :drinker: The weather is cool but we should see plenty of sun. The ocean is just so beautiful/calming no matter..so all is good.

So um...drank again last night
2 vodka tonics and 2 vodka shots (cause I was out of diet tonic!!)
I had two dry days this week....I consider that successful?? :huh:
Tonight, prolly wine and vodka, not sure. Its kind of miserable out maybe a manhattan?!
Tomorrow, we will be going for a hike in the morning then stuff around the house and beer drinking!!!!
We are spending sunday with my parents, then monday will be a recovery day, i.e. pizza and my couch :laugh:

Four 0's in a row for me! Althought I considered taking a tequila shot while my husband was at dinner with a friend last night.....Now to make it through the weekend. Holiday weekend at that! I'm holing up and only hanging out with my husband and pregnant friend this weekend.0

Will be a great week of relaxation, sitting in the hot tub, drinking and having an all around good time.. No internet there so will be out of touch. Gary, the Leavenworth I've heard of does not have those amenities - military jail in KS, maybe things have changes since I paid my taxes

Ha! Leavenworth WA is a Bavarian themed town in the Cascade Mountains. The other Leavenworth does not sound so fun..

champagne, red wine and frangelico with dessert coffee. Shopping, new fitbit, new underwear and new Calphalon griddle pan. tomorrow we head to the casino for gambling and dinner. So far its been a good birthday weekend.
Gary I hope you are enjoying Leavenworth. Doug and I have gone there often. we do limo wine tastings in the area.
So Cal I hope Laguna is treating you well.

I DID IT!!! I made it through a holiday weekend without a drop of alcohol. I am on day 9 of no booze. Only two more weekends to get through....they are the hardest. I've been sleeping fantastically. Could be all the manual yard labor I've been doing too..... I feel good this morning though and typically I feel like a dehydrated hippo on Monday (or Tuesday after holiday weekends). I hope you all lushed it up over the weekend. I do miss thie wine....0

Lushy holiday weekend, may shoot for a 0 tonight. Laundry is going, carpets are vacuumed and I'm going to pop on Bones and log an hour on the bike in a few. Didn't work out yesterday because husband had it off so we just had a lazy lushy day

Woo hoo! I wish I could do that. I was aiming for a zero last night and failed.0 -
I'm back....and drank a ton. i also messed up my back the 1st day (before i started drinking) so I didnt exercise at all. Except arm to mouth while I drank...and hugging my baby...who still seems to be growing and is now 6'3". He's also lost 15 pounds...I need to fatten him up this summer!
2 weeks from today we will be bringing him home. I can handle that.
glad everyone is doing well...lushing..or moderating. I'm avoiding the scale for a day or 2...but am going to start logging and being good again.0 -

Logging is key... the good, the bad and the ugly. Sometimes if you know you have to log it , it will sometimes deter you from putting it in your mouth out of sheer laziness (at least for me).
I am in the mood for a buzz tonight for no particular reason except my unaltered mind is a bit boring of the late. The last two nights have been zero for me. I have been remodeling my master bathroom for the past two weeks and I can finally see it all coming together. I may post a before and after when I am done. I am
because I was bidding on Ebay for a mini chandelier for the toilet closet and lost because I had to work. I so could have sniped it. It was such a good price and would have been perfect! Oh well... 0 -

I think I sucked realllllyyy bad at drinking my usual water so that's where I really got off track. I didn't eat all that much...I drank a crapload. But if I drink water I don't seem to get blasted on the scale as much.
I'm hoping I can get back to exercising hard soon. The back is much better than it was. I may hit the pool to ease into it again
I've unpacked and done laundry and am settled. I'm trying to figure out how to post pics from my phone on here...the weather was just perfect...it's just so beautiful there.0
