Problem with ZTE Racer

I've just tried to install on my ZTE Racer - the download symbol appears at the top of the screen and then disappears after a few seconds. The app does not install but there is no error message

    Thank you for participating in the beta! I am sorry to hear you are having problems getting the beta version of the app installed.

    If you are still unable to access the beta, this is an alternative method to try manually installing the app:

    1- uninstall the app
    2- download the app from your phone. You can use the browser to download it https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/104578459/myfitnesspal-2.7-3239-release-zipaligned.apk
    3- After the file is downloaded, run the installation by tapping on the file from your notification drawer on the phone

    Thanks for the link - at least I get an error now - when I click on the downloaded apk I get a message "Parse Error: There was a problem parsing the package".
