We have had a huge drop off of involvement recently, what are you doing to keep your focus and desire levels up allowing you to meet your goal? Is losing weight and improving your life enough motivation to keep you involved, or are you taking the easy way and going back to old eating and exercise/non-exercise habits?
I chose to fight and keep the edge up, it sure is not easy, the hardest for me is to avoid an easy snack those cookies that someone brings into work and lays them right by my office, gee thanks.
You people are a lifeline for me, the compliments, encouragement, and chatter are an endless source of help, as we don't hear it enough in our day to day lives. So THANK YOU and please keep up the great work!!! For my US friends Happy Memorial Day, I am sure we all know someone who has made the supreme sacrifice and allow you and I to be able to live the lives we are leading. Thank you Vets!

I actually gained 2 Ib this week, I haven't been exercising as much and it's been ladies time of the month, so I'm back up to 192Ib with full intention of working that much harder this week. Exercise is going to be hard as I need to focus on my college assignment that's due on the 5th June, but this has been the first week I've gained so far and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Having a lovely day food wise today to set the week off on a good one! I fully intend to come back with a bang and work that bit harder.0

Another good week. Not hitting the 1.88 pounds lost each week to reach 20 in 75 but thrilled with the progress. I am actually enjoying working out and seeing the changes in my body. Since starting mfp in early to mid April, I've dropped16 pounds. I will be much happier doing the American Cancer Society's Relay for life in 12 days. (less pressure on the knees and hips!)

Really happy with my results this week even though I didn't expect it as I had two cheat meals for dinner. However, I guess it depends on the amount of calorie burnt as I always do 1 hour high intensity workout and a 30 mins jog in the afternoon. Well done everyone, keep it up0 -
I'm so grateful that I've been able to do a little more this week, with no rebellion by my body! Lost a pound this week, probably water but I'll take it! Down 5 lbs since starting this group, 20 since starting MFP, and over 40 since starting my journey last September.
Wk 1 187- Wk 5 182 (5 lbs)
Measurement changes since last week - Waist down 1/2 inch (Start 39 to 36.5), BMI 30.4 to 30.2.
Thanks Kirk and the rest of this group for keeping us motivated and accountable!0 -
Down another .6 lbs but progress is soooooo slow. I even did a double session yesterday to get that last blast in.
I'm hoping that it has something to do with it being that time of the month and stressful week.
Feeling bloated and tired and depressed... UGH!
Grateful for the extra day this weekend to recover and for all of you...:flowerforyou:

I was so very bad this weekend. I had actually been down a bit more in the earlier part of the week, but all my boozing set me back (and made me lazy). I need to cut that crap out!

Hi Everyone,
I've backtracked a bit and am only down a net of 2 pounds since we started this challenge on 4/21...
I had a 5 day trip to the East coast and have been super-sick for 2 weeks & taking antibiotics, so haven't been exercising at all. Also, on Sunday and Monday I slept 36 hours in a row so I'm hoping to be back to good health very soon.
Feeling healthy and well is helpful to me in following the food plan.
Yesterday evening I ate several junk food items and 1) It didnt' make me feel any better physically, and 2) I felt a bit gross about it afterward. So that was a good lesson... Eating crap doesn't make me feel better any more. I would have been better off eating healthy food to help my body rebuild itself during this difficult time. Also, it makes me appreciate being in generally good health normally.
I'm still motivated to get to 165 pounds - although it may take longer than initially planned. This is the 'last 20 pounds' of the 95 pounds total that I needed to lose... So I'm still happy with my overall progress of 76 pounds lost. And I feel grateful to be in size 12 pants and size 10 skirts (if they are A-line cut).
Here are the stats (I'm 5' 9 1/2"):
Week One - 4/21/2013 - 186
Week Two - 4/28/2013 - 182
Week Three - 5/5/2013 - 183.8
Week Four - 5/12/2013 - 184
Week Five - 5/19/2013 - 183
Week Six - 5/26/2013 - 1840 -
