except for Pendlays and deadlifts..0

Yep. I don't on Pendlays (in theory by the last exercise you're already warm), but I still feel it's necessary for deadlifts (personally).0

I do for everything except the rows.0

actually I have started warming up on deads too!0

Yep. It is a great time to practice form as well.0

This is exactly what I do with warm up sets. Even with deadlifts and rows.0 -
Absolutely - it helps build your muscle memory for the movement, and it is a great time to refine your form.0

Yes, always.
I do deadlifts last, so I don't warm up for them. Also, they are taxing enough that I don't like doing more than a single five rep set anyway.0 -
thnx for the replies. Im just trying to figure out which weights to use for the warm up sets. I just came home from the gym. I was going to go do the workout after I did Zumba but when I went upstairs this guy was hogging the power rack for like 20 mins, I got sick of waiting and came home. M going to go back in like half an hour. Hopefully, it';; be available or then what?0

I just start with lighter weights, do 5 reps, add 5lbs, do 5 reps, add 5 lbs. do 5 reps until I've built up to my workout weight. I do not rest in between the light/warm up sets. Adding the weights is my "rest" time. And during the warm up sets I really concentrate on form since the weights are light. Also, as I add the weights, I can judge if I'm ready to go up to the next weight level. (Since I don't have a spotter (I workout at home, alone) I have to be very sure I can handle the weight by myself.) For squats, since I'm only at 25lbs, I do non-weighted squat exercises and stretches then just squat with the empty (standard) bar, then add my measly little 5lbs weights on each side.
I hope that helps and I hope the rack is free when you get there!0
