So I did my second 5k run today, I'm only in week 2 but I am trying to do one each week as one of workouts, I just don't stop the mission and keep walk/jogging as much as I can.
Week one time - 52 minutes and 3 seconds
Week two time - 45 minutes even
I am so excited to have hit 45 minutes, this was the goal I had wanted to get to by week 5!
What are your times?

I didn't do 5k's in the beginning as I couldn't jog more than 30 seconds, a minute if I was lucky lol. My first 5k time 2 weeks ago was 54:30 and my 5k time Thurs was 50:05. I only have one more 5k training day left, I'm just really slow at running lol.0

Wow, you've both improved a lot in a short time! Bravo!
When I checked the map for the Season 1 episode I just finished, it says 35:35 at the 3.16 mile mark. Six weeks ago it took me 46 minutes to run that far, so I'm happy with my progress as well.0 -
I can't run the 5k, Hell, I can't run 5 minutes in a row. (I hope that changes)
But I average 16 minute miles.
I usually stay out for between 3 and 3½ miles.0 -
For me it varies a lot depending on the trail--if I'm running on relatively flat pavement, I can do 5K in right around 30 minutes. If I'm running on a lot of hills on a trail, it's closer to 36 minutes.0

Awesome ladies - @liz 30 minutes is my goal time! So awesome you can do it!0

5km for me is about 20-25 min. I get 50 min flat for 10km.... but depends on how well I'm ding the 1st km depends on the other ones. I've done it in 20 min though.0

I've done 2 races so far, prior to completing z25k and did both in 43 minutes. I doubt I'll improve my time much on my next race, which is in July, due to the temperatures. I'm in Georgia so July is pretty warm, even at 8am.0

Glad I'm not the only one who cant run a 5k yet. I can manage 5 mins on a treadmill but do Zombie outside where there are hills, more hills and then even more hills and run for the maximum of 2 minutes.
I'm only on w3 though so hopefully will get better.0 -
I did a 5k "walk" a few weeks ago and tried to walk/jog as much as possible. I finished in just under 40 minutes (39ish) with an avg 14min/mi pace. My goal for the C25K is to be able to jog the full 5k with no walking. I don't care what speed I go, I just want to do it in a jogging/running motion. First *real* 5k run is on 7/7 and so far I'm on track to meet my goal.0
