6/2 30 Day Challenge Day 2

Good morning. I apologize to all you east coast early risers. As you have probably figured out, I am not an early riser. 10am is my usual rise time except when my kids have school but even then I don't have time to get on the computer until 9:30. So bear with me please.
Today is Day 2 of your journey to a better you. Don't forget to fill out your food diary and if you're looking for something to do today but you don't feel like exercising, why don't you do what one of our members (Mary9921) likes to do and dance? 30 minutes of dancing burns 150 calories and it's more fun that running. Who says exercise can't be fun? Has anyone tried "Prancercizing"? :laugh: If you don't know what I'm talking about I suggest you go to You Tube and look for it. It will definitely put a smile on your face.
My goal for today is to stay under my calorie count, exercise for 30 minutes, clean my house and do 50 crunches. What do you plan on doing today?

I went for a walk with my boys this morning. We walked just over a mile. We will go out again in just a little bit. I made the boys mini pizza's with whole grain tortilla shells, cheese, and turkey pepperoni. I made myself an egg white omelet with an asian cabbage salad.

Ok, here we are....day 2
Yesterday, I had to work....walked everywhere carrying things. I feel like I walked miles but since I don't know exactly how many steps I just posted a formula that we found on a website that says it's 136 calories for every 15 minutes walked. So I calculated 418 calories for 78 minutes...I hope that's ok..
I love dancing...some days when I don't feel like excercising I put on a KC and the sunshine band cd and dance around for 1/2 hour...I love it and I sweat like crazy.
Today since I have blisters on my feet and my feet are killing me...I will unfortunately not be doing any kind of excercising....I am just going to make sure to eat well so as not to go over my calorie intake.

Just finished level 1 of the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. I hate that woman and love her at the same time. It was not that bad to do, but man am I sweating. Gotta go clean up and get ready for work. I can feel the heat in my whole body from working out.0

Forgot to post yesterday, but here I am!
Walked at least 60 minutes today, including an off-property excursion on foot with my horse. :P
I'm hoping by the end of this month I'll have dropped 10 lbs or more. Keeping my fingers crossed!0 -
I walked for an hour and achieved 13,000 steps before laying my head down for the night. It was a beautiful day.0

Today was our church picnic. I was bad However, I did take 3 bites of the chocolate pie and push it away bc it was too sweet. That was a first for me. A month ago I could have eaten the whole pie!
