that I totally FORGOT that we were surrounded by 20K people (good thing I didn't try to undress her) and then when the third band started it just got better.........So this goes without saying there will be a third date assuming that she doesn't BOLT or BAIL .................. <smile>

The headlining band sounds a bit like Mumford... Did you see Daisy?

Ok, you Mumford Fans figured me out...as for Daisy well there were over 20K people there what are the odds that I would bump into daisy? Well.....Well...I would say Pretty good since I was sitting on HER blanket and we arrived in MY car ;)

I promise not to BOLT or BAIL...,.:blushing:

    Group Hug!!! ;)

    *throws confetti*

LOL on the "group hug", Bruce!

Okay, so for the record... any of you Peeps that come through the SoCal area or that live near and have the opportunity to meet Brewski, you should. He's one of the nicest guys I've ever had the privileged of meeting and is just all-in-all.... awesome. He's also really inspirational when it comes to why we're all here..... becoming healthier. I'm really happy I'm getting the opportunity to know him better.... (and he also smells delicious)

So happy for you both. But Warning!!! I love Shells so you better be good to my American sista!!!! :flowerforyou:

wooooo hooooooooooooooo!!! I'm going to take a man to see Mumford Shells...........lol Must be a lucky omen. Mind you, you made BB kiss on a first date so I think you're a keeper!!

Anna... yeah, he did break his Date #1 rule... however he justified it by saying taking me to Office Depot so I could purchase a ruler and then dinner was date #1 (no kissing). Date #2 was drinks at the hotel bar. So... yeah, same day, different "dates". I'm just glad he did.

After the show ended we walked back to his car and waited for a lot of the traffic to subside... which gave us about 90 minutes to um.. well... make out like high school kids. It was cool... completely achieved 100% fogging of the windshield.

We ended up FINALLY getting out of there and I got back to my truck and then finally home just after 2AM.... I was up at 4:30 for work, so I'm totally dragging *kitten* but it was SO worth it. Every minute.

If you spent those 90 minutes to sleep you wouldn't be dragging *kitten* today. I hope it was worth it to some desert creature that won't be documented because you can't stay awake today.

No need for such asshattery darling, we can see your jealousy from here.

Apparently you didn't get enough sleep either.

My 2nd date turned into him not making it and giving me a huge BS excuse. He canceled our first date also, but made up for it the next day. Ready for this one? His dog bit his neighbor and he went to the ER with him. :noway: I literally was told to turn around when I was on my way there around 4:30PM. I think he was actually just hungover and changed his mind at the last minute because at the start of the conversation 3 hours earlier, he said he drank too much the night before. He texted me at 10:30PM saying he "just got home, it was a long day" he was "tired and going to bed" then in the morning around 9AM apologizing, he was "really sorry" and his "neighbor got 40 stitches". Then the self-proclaimed-anti-texter proceeded to text me the rest of the day from work until after work (4PM) when the texts died off. His last chance is Thurs. I invited him to a get-together with friends. He said "Sounds good. I should be able to make it". That was all...this will probably be Strike 3.

Otherwise, I believe I got a nasty virus from work, but had a great time with my Dad yesterday, as always

If the dog bite was so severe the neighbor got 40 stitches his dog would have been put to sleep.

So you had a three-hour phone conversation right before your date?

Exactly. It's a big dog too. I asked what they were going to do and he said "I'm waiting to hear back from the shelter I rescued her from. This isn't good."...............

..................I call BS...but whatever. His last chance is Thurs whether he realizes it or not.

Sorry my update comes late but to be fair I was off on Monday so it was part of my weekend..... Friday I braved the wind and rain to drive over an hour to Mr M in Ft laud. I met him up at a gaming store where I was only 1 of 2 female *sigh* .... I had a blast then wandered the store and managed not to spend more then 30 bucks though it was very hard..... After wards we picked up take out and went to his house to watch a movie and play video games...... We went to his room at 3 didn't get to sleep till abound 6 :blushing:

Unfortanitly saturday he started coming down with a cold..... Which is when I found out this guy might be a bit of a germaphobe. He kept asking me if I was sick and then he was worried about getting me sick.. Needless to say we didn't do much on saturday but watch movies. I wanted to try and leave but he didn't want me driving home in the dark and rain so I left early sunday morning .......

Sunday night I made a huge pot of homemade beef stew yummy.
Monday was bar night since it was 2 of my friends birthdays I got home around 2 and I'm at work today

My thoughts exactly. I don't know. I've never rescued a dog before. Hence why I pretty much know it's BS because it's so outlandish and from talking to my friends who have rescued dogs and/or dealt with dog bites...but once again, chronic liars know to pass the blame, so it could never be "their fault" and therefore I can't be mad. It's always someone elses fault or something completely out of their control instead of just being got damn HONEST for once and saying "Look I'm really not feeling well"...God forbid.

Held Captive on the phone for 2 hours??? There is a button that can instantally END any phone call...I am a very polite and nice man and I too would want to "say hey I got to go" but after about 15 minutes of not being able to get a word in I would hit the "end call button" without any regret.

Only thing I could think is if he is fostering the dog instead of outright adoption... he might not be responsible for the cost of putting it down.

This is possible. I know he said he "rescued" her but I'm not sure if he is fostering or not. He may be. Thanks for clearing that up...I'm on the fence but I'm over it. It's water under the bridge now. We'll see what happens tomorrow.

So... why are you giving him a third chance?

Three strike rule I guess...he is still calling and showing interest...and there's a chance it MIGHT be true. I don't know 100% that it is or isn't.
