What's your favorite WOD & Which one scares you?

I would choose Cindy as my favorite
& Fran makes me want to cry when I see it on the board.

    I havent done many since I just started. We did Vern the other day an oh my word, I almost died. Not sure which WOD I love yet, but I do know that I really like doing slam balls and toes to rings!

    Anything with Burpees. The worst one I have done so far was one that had burpees EMOM with 3 or 4 different things to complete as well.

    I like tire flips and AMRAPS the best.

    Oh man! Toes to rings are intense. I can do like 2. lol
    Slam balls I don't mind. Wall balls I hate.
    I like tire flips and AMRAPS the best.

    Two things I also must agree with. Especially AMRAPS, Its always fun to try and beat your last,

    Cindy is my favorite. Kelly is good despite the wall balls (cuz I like running and box jumps).

    But Karen can piss off!

    My love/hate is the same WOD. Our box does one called "Haboob". WOD:
    “HABOOB”
    45 Minute AMRAP (to be done with a Sandbag, 80#/40#)
    - 30 Sandbag Cleans to shoulder w/ Thruster to other shoulder
    - 400m Sandbag Carry
    - 20 Sandbag Get Ups
    - 400m Sandbag Carry
    - 40 Sandbag Step Ups (12″ / 18″, 20 each leg, 20 each shoulder)
    - 400m Sandbag Carry
    - 80 Sandbag Floor Presses (elbows to floor to locked at top, every rep)
    - 400m Sandbag Carry

    I concur, I love tabatas. I only did my first hero WOD last week - Bradley and I actually liked it.

    It's all tough yet always rewarding - the only thing I guess I could say I "don't like" are the things that I cannot do yet or that have to be modified....i.e,, double unders, regular pull ups and a regular box jump. Double unders I'm still doing singles, regular pull ups I'm still doing ring rows and I have a stack of pads under a small box because I'm not landing light on the big box, I'm stomping on it so he doesn't want me to hurt my knee until I learn to land soft.

    So even though i don't like them, I know the more I have to do these certain ones....I don't like being told I have to modify lol....but I know I will get there :)

    We haven't done too many named WODs in my four months, but...

    I like "Cindy" and "Angie". I also dig anything Tabata. We did "Lumberjack 20" today and I liked it though it was long (cuz I run slower than a herd of turtles stampeding through peanut butter). I also liked "The Bear Complex" despite having trouble keeping track of all the rounds and sets.

    I won't even mention the "F" word, lol. "Karen" is a ridiculous b*tch that I can totally live without.

    If a wod has deadlifts and box jumps in it I'll love it hate almost anything with running. Griff sucked yesterday it was 800m run 400m run backwards 800m run then 400m run backwards the backwards running is killer on the calves and thighs

    I liked Cindy too - and Whitman. And Tabata & AMRAP.
    Hate anything involving DU's (coz I can't string them together).

    I think Annie is pretty sweet. As someone who gets exercise-induced asthma, I'm not a fan of the RFT WODs, especially if one of the components is running. Also, I hate rowing. Hate it!

    I just now looked this one up. O.M.F.G.!! There's no way I'd ever finish that during class time. I'd guess it'd take me about 3 hours, lol.

    I refuse to do Karen, and most running WOD's... but Michael is okay.
    I guess Diane is fun, the deadlift component. Of course I can only modify the HSPU, but it's an intense WOD that you feel days later.

    My favorite is any that involves heavy lifting :) and my least favorites are running wods anything with wall-balls or double unders

  • I revoke everything I just said. I just did Badger for the first time. Never have I ever wanted to give up so bad. Fran and Murph were both nothing compared to Badger. The thought alone still scares me.

    Did Omar and Cindy's ugly cousin last week, those were not fun, I thought Omar wouldn't be too bad because I love Thrusters and Burpees facing the bar don't sound to bad, but it did suck

    weighted runs -- my forearms still ache at the thought of last week's 400m run w/ 2 25lb plates + 12 box jumps, 4 rounds
