dose anybody else feel this way ? sometimes I feel discouraged because I am used to being able to see results but now of course you are just trying to stay healthy not really lose weight and I know that is a good thing but sometimes it gets to me that I work out and still look like a beach while lol

Yep! It's also discouraging seeing the scale go UP instead of down for a change and same with measurements. I just have to keep reminding myself that it's for a good cause. :)
  • I gts kind of old I just keep trying to tell myself it will help me in the long run !

I hear ya! I had a major meltdown last week for this very reason. My doctor told me I only needed to gain about 10lbs the entire pregnancy so I'm trying REALLY hard to not gain until 3rd trimester. I'm almost 9 weeks pregnant and no gain so far.
  • it is crazy how you can feel so huge but yet there is really no weight gain yet ! I have not gained anything yet either but I think I will gain around 20 when it is all said and done . because I work out hard but I am so hungry lol

I have struggled with this a bit. I reached goal about 5 months before getting pregnant and was in the best shape I have been in since I was a chearleader in early high school! I am still busting out the same workouts everyday, but not getting the constant reward of positive body changes that I was before. My measurments have thus far stayed the same (other than the belly and boobage), but I have gained 15 pounds at 22 weeks.

I remind myself often of how far I have come and that makes me feel much, much better. I did not workout with my daughter or eat right and felt sooooo much worse that pregnancy, so that is the payoff to staying active. Totally worth it, I just have to remind myself more often why I am doing this and how good it is for me and the baby. I am also three pounds under my starting weight for my last pregnancy...at almost six months pregnant! These are things I tell myself daily now as the body image stuff starts to become more of an issue as the scale increases, lol.

I'm the same exact as you rubyann. I was finally enjoying me six pack just to see it quickly melt away, but I'm so happy to be pregnant. We just have to get in the mindset of " I did it once I can do it again!". I've reached my weight before I started all the losing which is so insanely discourging but I know as soon as I'm able i'm going to work my butt off.
