I'm 168 and 5'3 so I have plenty to lose. Not much changes inches wise. Eating as best as I can. Not going to lie I am a bit frustrated. I need some encouragement and maybe just hear from someone it gets better? I have a lot of weight to lose.

Would weighted gloves and ankle weights make a difference?

Also any TurboFire friends that want to add me it would be great I I obviously need encouragement lol

  • I've just started and in week 2 my weight is fluctuating and I'm sure its due to few things but mainly my body is adjusting to the new routine. I wouldn't worry to much at this point I've read online that most the changes happen towards the end of the program. If you gain isn't to high i wouldn't worry it could be water retention it is warmer out and that can be a reason or it can also be muscle gain. Im no expert but i do know those are things that can change the numbers on our scales.

Feel free to add me if you want

How are your clothes fitting? I did lose weight after the first couple of months, first 2lb/week, then it slowed, then nothing until the final month (I did the 20 week program), my inches weren't moving much either, but I lost almost 2 pants sizes. It couldn't hurt to double-check your diet also and be very very patient. BTW I do wear weighted gloves and ankle weights, it adds some intensity, but I didn't notice huge extra calorie burn.

    Hey there...

I think the weighted gloves help more with toning (arms) than anything. I finished Turbo Fire and rarely used the weighted gloves. I lost 21lbs and LOVE Turbo Fire. I'm taking the "Insanity" challenge now and still go back to do a Turbo Fire routine at times. Eating "right" is still a struggle for me and I had to follow Ally on majority of the videos due so bad knees. I said all that to say Turbo Fire will help you lose weight if you stick to it. I noticed my weightloss increase toward the 60 -70 day mark and I losted (got rid of 'em cause i'm not going to find them) two pants sizes.

    Good luck to you...:flowerforyou:

    Hi LaChina Doll,

Don't stress too much about it! The same thing happened to me the first two times I started the program. This is my 3rd time doing it because I just got really frustrated. I was looking at your food diary and the only thing I can think of is adjusting your calories down a little bit. I always try to stick to 1200-1300 calories a day no matter how many calories MFP gives me for my activity. That's just me though. I calculated the optimal calories for me based on the book that came with TF. I didn't check your water, but make sure you drink a ton of it! I have a TON of weight to lose (50 lbs). This time around I just finished week 3 and I'm down 6 lbs.
