Today why not eat a side salad along with lunch or dinner. Or perhaps have a broth based soup along with meal? You tend to be fuller faster and get your servings if fruit/vegetables for the day.
Make your side dishes healthy and worthwhile. Preferably not a starch.

Hmmmm, having salad for lunch... what's a side dish for a salad????? Haven't even thought about dinner yet, waiting to see if I survive exercise tonight since I have three hours worth planned (if I make it through all three....)

I'm having Spaghetti Squash for lunch... and strawberries... I think I'm good on the veggies/fruits for that meal... I might have a side salad with my grilled chicken for dinner though

What if a broth based soup IS your meal?

Brussels sprouts with dinner tonight. But I'm sneaking in some rice too.

What if I told you that rice isn't bad for you? (Particularly brown rice)

I had a salad for lunch every day this week (spring mix greens, tomato, green onions, cheddar cheese and olive oil & vinegar dressing) I usually eat salad for lunch during the week at work. I had celery stuffed with hummus for a side with my omelet for dinner.

Me, too, roasted with a little olive oil. Yum!

Thanks for the suggestion, I'm always looking to eat more veggies! In addition to regular salads made with leafy greens, I will also make salads from shredded cabbage or broccoli with a low-cal dressing.

Don't know what you add besides olive oil, but try adding some chopped or pressed garlic and right before you eat it drizzle some balsamic vinegar over it. Major YUM!
